Brian Beliveau is a Captain with a midsize New England metropolitan department where he has served for the last 29 years. During the course of his career he has served in a variety of capacities; Uniform Squad officer, Juvenile Detective, School Resource officer and Community Policing. Promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2014 he was an inaugural member of the departments rollout of autonomous C3 units as he commanded a 5 officer team. Promoted to Lt. he ran the Metro Unit the downtown area. Then assigned as evening commander of the Narcotics/Firearms Investigation Unit. Promoted in May 2022 to the rank of Captain he oversees department policy development, accreditation efforts and the implementation of police reform legislation. He is the commander of the departments tactical unit on which he has served for the past 16 years. Trained in Design Thinking at Joint Special Operations University and an attendee of the Babson College BlueSky Leadership Program.
